ASDA Service Dogs improve one life at a time.

How Our Dogs Help Veterans
Our service dogs support veterans with PTSD, TBI, and physical disabilities by performing essential tasks like alerting to anxiety, assisting with public transitions, retrieving dropped items, opening/closing cabinets, and pressing automatic buttons.
Beyond physical support, their calm presence helps ease anxiety, improve sleep, restore a sense of safety, and rebuild trust—empowering veterans to navigate daily life with greater confidence and independence.
Happy Customers, Happy Dogs
“I have an 8 year old Goldendoodle, ‘Scribble,’ that has been participating in Susanne’s training programs since she was 12 weeks old. Initially private lessons and then on to group classes. Scribble received her AKC Canine Good Citizen Award at 7 months! She earned her Certification as a Therapy Dog and AKC Community Award at 1 year. We could not have achieved all of that without Susanne’s expertise and knowledge in positive training.
Scribble has been working as a Therapy Dog for emotional support at an elementary school and in hospice settings for 7 years. We continue to attend Susanne’s classes because we always learn new techniques and knowledge in dog behavior and how to better communicate with our dogs.
I have watched Susanne work with reactive and aggressive dogs. She is so patient and positive in ALL of her approaches and techniques. The most remarkable thing is watching Susanne train her service dogs to assist their owners in tasks they can no longer do on their own like opening drawers, turning on and off lights, picking a spoon off the floor and many many more. Susanne has made such a difference in so many lives!!!! It has been a true gift to know her and have her in our life!!!”

We Need Your Help
We can't do this work alone. Your support can make a difference.

Your gift of $100 helps sponsor a future service dog’s training for six months—supporting vital skills, socialization, and care as they prepare to transform the life of someone with a disability.
We are always taking donations in the form of dog food, dog toys, and puppy supplies. Check out our Amazon Wishlist for ways you can help.
Help us Train a Puppy!
Join us in making a meaningful impact by raising a future service dog for ASDA! As a puppy raiser, you’ll welcome a dog-in-training into your home for 12 to 18 months, focusing on socialization and basic obedience. After this period, the puppy will move on to advanced training with our professional team.
Ideal puppy raisers are committed to attending weekly training classes (at a location selected by ASDA) and practicing daily socialization. All food and veterinary care are fully provided by ASDA.
