Seven Years of Service, Built on Positive Training
“I have an 8 year old Goldendoodle, ‘Scribble,’ that has been participating in Susanne’s training programs since she was 12 weeks old. Initially private lessons and then on to group classes. Scribble received her AKC Canine Good Citizen Award at 7 months! She earned her Certification as a Therapy Dog and AKC Community Award at 1 year. We could not have achieved all of that without Susanne’s expertise and knowledge in positive training.
Scribble has been working as a Therapy Dog for emotional support at an elementary school and in hospice settings for 7 years. We continue to attend Susanne’s classes because we always learn new techniques and knowledge in dog behavior and how to better communicate with our dogs.
I have watched Susanne work with reactive and aggressive dogs. She is so patient and positive in ALL of her approaches and techniques. The most remarkable thing is watching Susanne train her service dogs to assist their owners in tasks they can no longer do on their own like opening drawers, turning on and off lights, picking a spoon off the floor and many many more. Susanne has made such a difference in so many lives!!!! It has been a true gift to know her and have her in our life!!!”

A Family Transformed by Service Dogs
“The American service dog Association has provided service dog training for two service dogs for our family. Myself and my daughter have mobility issues due to Muscular Dystrophy. We first worked with Susanne and Rob with our German Shepard Lulu. She was trained to retrieve and provide mobility support. Later, Susanne worked with our family to train our labradoodle Belle. She is very adapt at retrieving, closing doors and drawers and providing emotional support. Susanne has always taken the time to understand our family’s needs and goals for our dogs. We are so appreciative.”

Suzie’s Support Makes Independent Living Possible
“We’re thrilled to share another successful placement with our service dog, Suzie. Suzie has been paired with an elderly woman and is trained to assist with various tasks, including retrieving dropped items, pushing handicap buttons, and opening and closing doors, among others. With Suzie’s support, Joan can live more independently in her own home. Beyond her trained tasks, service dogs like Suzie are invaluable companions, helping to alleviate loneliness and bring comfort.”
